International Forum “Human Resources Forum-2016” has launched in Baku today. The meeting was devoted to automatization of human resources management. The Forum is focused on quality improvement of application of international practice in human resources management in local companies. Furthermore, its target is to increase interest in human resources management in the field of science, business and general management and develop the significance of this field to strategic position.  

Azercell Telecom Ltd was the only company representing telecommunication field in this international event. Managers of well-known local and international agencies made speeches in this forum which was composed of two panels. Vahid Mursaliyev, the president of Azercell, as one of ten main speakers, delivered a speech in the Forum.

The President of Azercell stated that, from the early years of its activity Azercell has made use of international practice in Human Resources management. All the processes related to this field and current system of the Company complies with the modern international practice.

V.Mursaliyev noted that, Azercell, as a part of global company having stable and strong position in the market, functions in accordance with international standards. This fact creates intercompany and international career opportunities, suitable condition for professional development, experience exchange opportunities for the employees. For example, the specialists skilled in Azercell are working in Stockholm, Istanbul where Telia Eurasia Office is located, Uzbekistan, Georgia. On the other hand, Azercell involves the best staff in our country. At present, Azercell has employed such employees who are considered as one of 6-7 best specialists of the world in this field.

As a result of Employer brand research held some months ago, Azercell is one of the three best employers among the companies of current market. Azercell has received Investors in People International Standard Compliance Certificate in 2006 and now it owns Silver IIP Certificate. Azercell is one of three companies passing OHSAS certification on labor protection in TS Eurasia. 

Mr. Vahid Mursaliyev also emphasized that existing environment of cooperation and mutual assistance in the company allows getting new achievements. From this point, Azercell Academy which was established in 2003 played important role in the development of personnel. It also organizes trainings for some state and private companies in local market.

Azercell is one of the companies in Azerbaijan which offers medical insurance for not only its employees but also their family members.
