The next amazing competition is about to launch in the country with the support of Azercell Telecom LLC. “Barama HackDayy 2016” project which can be categorized as training course and competition for junior programmers is starting with the organization of Barama Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center. Hackathon is a globally known competition in which developers collaborate as a team to develop digital recourses in a short time frame. The event considered to be a “party” for developers is aimed at providing an opportunity for the new “hackers” or programmers to meet each other, get deep understanding about this culture and produce products to benefit the people. The event to be announced with a training course on “Learning Web Programming with Python” on March 10-11 starts the next day at 9.00am. The competition will last for 36 hours and end at 21:00 on March 13. HackDay2016 award ceremony will be held at 10.00am on March 14. The programmers will work throughout the competition without sleeping according to the event slogan “Code. Eat. Sleep”.

The winners of competition organized with general sponsorship of Azercell and sponsorship of Pasha Bank and Huawei Mobile Azerbaijan are going to receive precious presents from Huawei and Azercell. Barama Innovation Center was founded in 2009 by Azercell with the purpose of supporting entrepreneurship in Azerbaijan. The Center generally supports the projects in information technologies and start-ups operating in this industry. Barama Center has made a number of achievements during six years of its activity.
