Azercell Telecom, the leading mobile operator of the country, has been selected the most examplary company among telecommunication companies operating in Azerbaijan, as a result of the monitoring conducted by the Public Radio Frequency department of Ministry of Communications and High Technologies.
Public Radio Frequency department of the Ministry announced that Azercell operates in compliance with the requirements of the agreement concluded on the use of radio frequency. Furthermore, the company makes all payments under the agreement in time and full. Due to these indicators, Azercell has been selected as “The most exemplary company of the Year” by the Public Radio Frequency department.
Aflatun Mammadov, head the department, congratulated Azercell and all company employees on this occasion and wished great success in their future endeavors.
The company received awards in a number of fields thanks to its exemplary activity. The Company won “Company of the Year” National Business award for its initiatives in telecommunications in the country. The company also received “GSM operator of the Year” and “Charitable organization of the Year” awards in different periods.
The leading mobile company representing Azerbaijan in high level in international arena also remains leader in international standards. The company has won prominent Stevie International Business Awards several times. The company also received this award for innovations in telecommunication sector, innovative projects, social responsibility, high quality customer services and etc.
Currently, Azercell Telecom is the largest operator to provide more communication services in Azerbaijan with 4,6 million subscribers and 51% market share. The company covers 99,8% of the country’s population and provides them with high quality mobile communication.
