Azercell remains dedicated to preserving Azerbaijan’s literary heritage through its ongoing "Book Club" initiative. On October 25, the company hosted a literary evening with the participation of contemporary writer Jeyhun Hidayatly, narrator Khazar Suleymanly, and screenwriter Azer Aydemir.
Azercell's Corporate Communications Director, Sona Abbasova, shared the vision behind the Book Club with attendees, stating: “The Book Club aims to foster a reading culture, particularly among youth. For many years, Azercell has remained committed to initiatives that promote our cultural heritage. Since launching the Audiobook project in 2017, Azercell has enriched Azerbaijani-language digital content and contributed to raising global awareness of our literary legacy”.
During the event, Khazar Suleymanly presented selected works by Vagif Samadoglu. The guests also engaged in discussions on modern Azerbaijani literature, with the novel “Əqrəb” (Scorpion) and its television adaptation “Əqrəb Mövsümü” (Scorpion Season) being the highlights of the event.
In addition, members of Azercell's "Book Club” read excerpts from Jafar Jabbarli’s plays Sevil and Almaz, both accessible on the Bookmate and Litres platforms.
