Azercell Telekom LLC continues to support Sabah project conducted by the Ministry of Education. The company organized an information tour for a Sabah group of 30 students on December 2. Ziba Mustafayeva, head of HR Department, Azad Huseynov, head of Business Analysis unit, Aytan Farzaliyeva, head of Units and Talents Management unit of HR Department and Asif Ibrahimov, Technology Department expert-engineer at Azercell held brief sessions on “GSM Overview”, Product Management “ and “Build your Brand” during the information tour.
Azercell has carried out a number of interesting events for SABAH students. The company held a summer internship program for 4 students who had an opportunity to take the internship at Finance, IT, Marketing and Strategic Partnership and Customer Channel Management Departments of Azercell. In addition, the company organized several presentations and meetings with the students of SABAH project. SABAH project conducted by the Ministry of Education was developed to upgrade the quality of education at universities, establish a new and different environment, educate skilled and well prepared students and ensure capacity building to meet the increasing labor market requirements. The project provides a number of advantages including additional stipend, free accomodation and food, opportunity to participate in exchange programs, development of intellectual and creative capacity, work experience in innovative companies and further studies.
Azercell Telecom regularly conducts projects aimed for the development of the youth. Under the Student Bursary program of the company, promising students from Azerbaijani universities get a great opportunity to receive special bursary from Azercell and take internship at various units of the company. Besides, many projects conducted by the company are related to education. Furthermore, Azercell cooperates with the leading universities and helps to improve their material and technical bases. Supporting education and the youth will remain a priority field for Azercell.
