This policy provides a framework for leading and managing our work within health and safety. By communicating this OHS Policy to all employees and by continuously monitoring its implementation, we strive to meet its standards by improving and developing any identified issues and making them sustainable.
We are proud to announce that we have successfully completed the transition migration from OHSAS18001 to ISO45001:2018, along with our continuous registration to ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 standards
Azercell has instituted a number of preventive measures aimed at halting the spread of the COVID-19 virus. Our concerted efforts create a safe environment for both our employees and our customers. General precautions include the regular disinfection of offices as well as the installation of antiseptic dispensers, ionizers and other similar health aids in the workplace. As Azercell Customer Service offices see a high volume of close interpersonal contact every day, we have developed new rules to keep our staff and our clients safe in the present situation. One of the first changes we introduced was a staggered work schedule for all our employees. This was done to accommodate social distancing norms within the enclosed offices. The next step was the modification of each office. Thermal cameras and electronic thermometers were installed so individuals with a fever, which is a common Covid-19 symptom, can be identified and afforded the proper quarantine care. Transparent partitions have been installed at each customer service booth. This physical barrier greatly reduces the likelihood of the virus spreading through airborne droplets during conversations. Customer Service staff are provided with protective masks, rubber gloves and alcohol-based antiseptics for individual disinfection. Protecting our health means protecting our future!
