You can activate the daily 1000MB internet package in 3 ways:
SMS sent to 2525 for prepaid subscribers is free of charge.
For postpaid subscribers the service fee is 0.01 AZN.
To get information about your balance, send a blank (empty) SMS to 2525 or dial *100#YES on your phone. This service is provided free of charge for prepaid subscribers and costs 0.01 AZN for postpaid subscribers. Postpaid users can also check their balance from the next billing cycle.
You will have to wait for a confirmation message informing you that the pack has been activated before you can use it.
Internet access will be deactivated at the end of the validity period or bill cycle of the tariff plan. You will be redirected to the internet.azercell.com landing page to activate a new internet pack.
The main advantage of this service is the convenience of an automatic renewal reminder when you have used up your data balance. When this happens, you are redirected to a landing page with options to continue using data.
The landing page presents users with 3 options to continue using data:
You are free to order multiple packs on the same day.
If the subscriber wishes to order a pack of a volume less than your current pack, he/she must use up at least 95% of the internet traffic in the current pack.
As of 03.04.2019, there are no restrictions on ordening a larger internet pack than your current pack.
You are free to use the data for roaming. The cost of usage will be charged at roaming rates.
Corporate subscribers are not eligible for these internet packs:
Postpaid subscribers who purchase an internet pack in the current billing cycle will be invoiced the subscription fees in the following bill cycle. If the billing cycle is longer than 30 days, the next invoice may reflect the charges for both the current and next month’s internet packs.
In ideal conditions within areas of 4G (LTE) coverage, subscribers will get:
Download: 190 Mbps
Upload: 95 Mbps
In typical conditions within areas of 4G (LTE) coverage, subscribers will get:
Download: 27.8 Mbps
Upload: 18.5 Mbps
In ideal conditions within areas of 3G coverage, subscribers will get:
Download: 21.6 Mbps
To deactivate 1000MB daily internet pack, SMS STOP GUN to 2525. The usage of the internet without pack is charged according to the current tariff.
This service is free for prepaid subscribers. Postpaid subscribers pay 0.01 AZN for each SMS to 2525.
When the pack is canceled, the remaining MB will be completely reset.
The usage of the internet without pack is charged according to the current tariff.
The amount paid for the package will not be refunded if the package is cancelled.
If numbers connected to a hotspot order an internet package from appropriate sources, the service fee will be deducted from the balance of the number sharing the internet. The internet pack will be active on the main number.
If this happens, the system will attempt to renew the pack the following day. If there is insufficient balance to renew the respective packs, the system will attempt to renew them again after 90 days. If there still is insufficient balance, the subscription will be cancelled.
